We have to go under a fair amount of power lines on our passages. We don’t like it. We’re constantly checking the height on the chart, and as we look forward we often wonder if the power lines are sagging a bit since the last time the chart was updated.
I find that I tend to edge Adventure to a side of the power lines where it looks higher. Kathy often takes a brave stance when she sees me stressing. “We’ll be fine,” she says with disdain for my cowardice. I went to the bathroom just before we crossed under one recently and when I came back up Kathy looked terrified. Seems she’s only brave when I’m panicking.
