Adventure has 1100 watts of solar power. I was quite proud of the upgrade until I ran into a man that had 1200. And then another. I whined to Kathy that we needed more solar. “You’re just using the air fryer too much,” I lied. She agreed that we could afford 2 more solar panels.
Adventure now has 1300 watts of solar. Our friends invited us to the Friday Harbor Sailing Club last night and I couldn’t wait to boast about our new power upgrade. We were introduced to our first couple and, skipping past all the normal pleasantries, I demanded to know how much solar he had on his boat. He replied he only had a modest 1800 watts. Grr. There’s always someone with a little more solar.
