Adventure is a 42-foot Catalina Mark I sailboat, hull number 101, launched in 1989. We bought her in 2004 in Blaine, Washington, and settled her into her new home port in Marina Bay Yacht Harbor in San Francisco Bay. In 2006, she took our family on a 3-year journey into Mexico, Central America, Galapagos Islands, the Marquesas Islands, French Polynesia, Niue, Tonga, and New Zealand, and returned home in 2010. After upgrading many of her systems, we set sail again in 2023, heading North to the Salish Sea in the Pacific Northwest. We have upgraded many of her systems.
