Every year we test our marriage with a trust exercise – I go up the mast. If Kathy doesn’t let go of the line, I figure we’re good. This year she fired a shot across the bow though.
Our phone communication stopped working correctly as I was between the last spreader and top of the mast. Kathy was dutifully winching me up and I was panicking because there was no way for me to tell her to stop.
I felt my heart pounding as I tried to think of a way to communicate. I tapped on the mast but it was cold and hurt my knuckles. Up and up I went. I was running out of time. I decided to go old school and screamed like a little girl. Because she heard me, or concerned that there might be witnesses (I’ll never know), she stopped and allowed us to reset.
Anyway, the new SuperMastCam is installed. Enjoy!
Hahahaha!!!
