Sewing in the nuclear age

Kathy’s making pockets in our weather cloth for the new solar panels. I’ve chosen to manage this project as I know less than nothing about sewing. That entails mostly just asking “how’s it going?” and “when do you think you’ll be done?” every 15 minutes or so. Kathy sometimes makes the mistake of asking my opinion and usually just walks away shaking her head from side to side.

Using a hot knife to cut the fabric gives Kathy the opportunity to work alone
